BOULETTES LARDER (in the world-famous San Francisco Ferry Building Marketplace) is seeking a mature-minded, friendly, hospitable, creative and highly-organized AdministrativeAssistant/Guest Services Supportfor our multi-layered food universe (restaurant, online shop, specialty grocery, private dining venue, bustling bar, pizzeria ) in the Ferry Building Marketplace of San Francisco. This is great job for a grownupwith energy, a love of food, good hospitality skills . . . an organized worker who takes pride in offering a warm welcome!EXPERIENCE A MUSTAdmininstrative TasksOrganizingHospitality HostingReceptionistConcierge Responsibility Areas ( can expand as you grow into the role ) Basic Administrative Support: record-keeping, email correspondence, etc. Production /Proofreading of printed daily changing menus Assist with all aspects of operations, hospitality, guest services, etc. Greet guests warmly and assist them with reservations either in person or over the phone. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the restaurant’s menu, offerings, and seating arrangements. Manage reservation book and ensure accuracy of all bookings. Confirm reservations each day. Respond promptly to guest inquiries and provide information about restaurant services. Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely seating and efficient service. Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally and escalate to management when necessary. Assist with seating guests and monitoring dining sections to ensure adequate coverage. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area. 25-30 hours / week; weekday and weekendOn-site primarily; possibly some remote work when the restaurant is closed Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Square for Restaurants, and Instagram and other social media; generally fluent in technology basics.
